Barnet beat Cheshunt on Tuesday night to reach the final of the Herts Senior Cup for the first time since 2007, when the Bees won the trophy with a 4-2 victory over Hemel Hempstead Town.

The two clubs had to play extra time before a Mauro Vilhete strike after 108 minutes put the Bees into the County Cup final where they will meet old rivals, Stevenage who defeated Ware 4-3 in their semi-final.

Barnet put out a strong side on the night including 10 players with first team experience and the side included on loan midfield player, Anthony Pulis, playing for the first time since he was sent off on his debut against Torquay United. The Bees side was; O’Brien; Cox, Kelly, Yorke, Johnson; Vilhete, Adjeman-Pamboe (Lockhart-Adams 105), Pulis (Scott 98), Fraser (O’Neill 98), Taylor, Stimson.
