Deano will now stay for the 2005/2006 season along with 5 other Barnet players who have already signed new deals (Ian Hendon,Ismail Yakubu,Liam Hatch,Richard Graham and Simon Clist).
Dean signed in pre season after impressing in a friendly against Dulwich Hamlet where the Bees won 2-1 in August Deano got on the score sheet that day along with Alex Meechem who was on trial at the time and since not being given a contract at Barnet has played for Leigh RMI and Halifax Town.
Deano made 43 appearances last season scoring 11 goals for the Bees and is a key member of the side. He also got international honours last season when he was called up to the England non league team which is managed by Bees manager Paul Fairclough. He has also been given a call up to the 4 nations in Ireland.
