It has been announced today that Paul Fairclough will have up to £100,000 to spend on players in the January transfer window. This is good news for the club who are in need of a new defender and it seems to be what the fans want...............

Could Anthony Elding be on his way to Underhill? The Stevenage striker who has had a fight with manager Graham Westley over the summer is looking for a league football and has made it public how much he respects Paul Fairclough.

The last player the Bees paid for was Anthony Charles who signed for the Bees in March 2005 from Farnborough Town then of the Nationwide Conference for £12,000.

The Bees will use the 45% of gate receipts from the Carling Cup Third Round tie against Manchester United and Old Trafford with an additional £20,000 donation from Bees Chairman Tony Kleanthous.
