MK Dons 4-1 Barnet Reserves

The Bees reserves returned after a two season absence and lost 4-1 to Milton Keynes Dons at the National Hockey Stadium. Former Bees legend Gary "Sumo" Phillips who manages the reserves was on the bench for the match. The Dons broke the deadlock on the half hour with a goal from Julian Hornuss. Sam Page then put the Dons two up on the 57th Minute. Hornuss struck again three minutes later. The Bees grabbed a conciliation on 77 minutes through Nick Beasant. But then a minute later Ben Harding scored to give the Dons a comfortable 4-1 win. Next up for the reserves is on Wednesday 24th August,2pm away at bitter Hertfordshire rivals Stevenage Borough in the Pontins Holiday Combination.
