We need a decent left back

Damien Batt
We need a decent left back and fast but we can’t sort this out with the loan deadline day on Thursday and the transfer window in force until January 1st. We could sign a free agent, but its unlikely we will find one that hasn’t already been signed. When Simon Clist returns from his long term injury it will be like a new signing but he is unproven …. We don’t know if he’s good enough for League Two football.

Damien Batt is not a left back nor is Anthony Charles although his Job application says differently.. Who knows he might be a good left back for Farnborough Town but not for us who are in need of a stronger defence. Firstly why was Adam Gross dropped? Okay he was run raged by the Stockport County winger but is replacing him with Damien Batt or Charles going to make any difference? Charles and Batt are a lot worse then Gross! BRING HIM BACK FAIRCLOUGH!

With all the midfielders at the club and after the huge profit made from the Manchester United game from ticket sales and merchandise that we could be able to sign a big strong centre back so King can move over or a centre back.

Another worry about our defence is the possible move of superstar goalkeeper Ross Flitney who has been linked with Premership side Manchester City which was covered in today’s People as the Yorkshire side came to watch Ross when he played for the Bees against Southend United in the FA Cup where the Bees lost 1-0 at Underhill but Ross won man of the match award and kept the Bees in the game. Soon enough after that fan wanting Scott Tynan but between the sticks shut up…

Anthony Charles with Simon Clist

If Ross was to leave the Bees in Janurary he would be the second ex Bees goalie in the Premiership… Mike Taylor who now plays for Birmingham City after a spell with Fulham used to play for the Bees.
