Barnet and Woking first met in the 1st round of the FA Amateur Cup in 1950 with Barnet winning 3-1 at Underhill. In 1952, the clubs met again in the same tournament and at the same stage. The two clubs drew 3-3 at Woking with Barnet winning the replay 2-0 at Underhill.

In 1958, the two clubs were drawn together in the semi finals of the Amateur Cup at Craven Cottage, the game ending 1-1. In the replay, at GriffinPark, Woking won 3-2. The Cards went on to lift the trophy beating Ilford 3-0 in the final at Wembley.

The two clubs first met in the FA Cup in 1978 in the 1st round, with the game at Underhill ending in a 3-3 draw (Jimmy Cleary scoring twice and Steve Oliver the other goal for the Bees) as did the replay at the Kingfield Stadium (John Fairbrother scored twice with one from Derek Brown). The second replay at Woking ended in 3-0 win for the home side.

In 1994, the two clubs met at Underhill in the 1st round of the FA Cup and the game ended in a 4-4 draw with goals from two goals from Mark Cooper and one each from Lee Hodges and Gerald McMahon. Woking won the replay 1-0.

The following season the teams met again in the FA Cup at the same stage. The sides drew 2-2 at Underhill with goals from Linvoy Primus and Sean Devine. Woking won the replay 2-1, Lee Hodges scored for the Bees.

In the Conference, the two clubs met following Barnet’s relegation from the Football League and Barnet won 3-0 at Underhill. Mark Arber, Ben Strevens and Wayne Purser scored for the Bees. The return at Woking ended in a 3-1 win for the Bees, with Purser scoring twice and Frazer Toms scoring the other.

The following season both goals ended in goalless draws.

In 2003/04, both games ended in draws again; 2-2 at Woking with Ben Strevens scoring both Bees’ goals, while the game at Underhill ended goalless.

In 2004/05, both games again ended in draws; 2-2 at Underhill, both Barnet goals scored by Giuliano Grazioli. The game at the Kingfield ended 1-1, Ian Hendon scoring for Barnet and at the end of the season; the Bees won the Conference title and were promoted to League Two.

Early last season the two clubs played out a goalless draw at Woking.The Cards won the game at Underhill 3-1 with Barnet's goal coming from Cutis Weston. The defeat followed a run of five consecutive wins for the Bees.

The game at Woking earlier in the season ended in a 1-1 draw.
