The Telepost Club
This is the closest pub/club to the ground. The club is a members only club but does allow non members in on matchday. It is a very friendly club and does welcome well behaved away supporters. The drinks are cheap therefore it gets very busy. It is difficult to find if you don't know the area, to get to it go down the side of the Shalimar Indian restaurant which is opposite the Abbey church. Follow this narrow road all the way until you see the club with two bowling greens. No food is served but there is a couple of places close by that serve takeaway food (chips, pizza, bacon butties etc). The football ground is only 5 minutes walk away from the club.
Many thanks to Phill Partridge from www.mightyshrews.co.uk for the above pub review
The Bricklayers Arms
This pub is located in Abbey Foregate, and has been recently refurbished. There is a pool table, beer garden, Sky TV, etc
The Crown
This pub is located in Abbey Foregate, and is a large, popular pub. There is a mix of home and away fans on match days, although there is a doorman just in case! There is a food served between 11.30 and 1.30, and the pub also boasts Sky TV and a beer garden.
The White Horse
This pub is located in Wenlock Road, and comes highly recommended from most of our reviewers. There is a lounge and bar, plus big screen TV, and two pool tables. Food is normally served between 12-9.30pm.
