Paul Fairclough's Bees take on Brain Talbot's Oxford United who are currently 8th in the League 7 positions higher then Barnet and 4 more points then the Bees. This will be only the second encounter between The Bees and Oxford United the first was in the Autoglass trophy in the 1995/1996 season. The Bees lost he game 3-2 with the Bees goals coming from Mark Robins and Cooper infront of only a thousand fans at Underhill. Former Barnet midfielder Danny Brown who made over 100 appearances for the Bees after his move from Leyton Orient joined the U's in 2003 and made 19 appearances for them. Another player to play for both is right back Sam Stockley joined the U's for £150,000 in the summer of 2001 he made 177 appearances in a five year spell at the Bees. When he joined the U's he played 39 times in 2001/2002 season but left in October of 2002.


Back to more current affairs Simian King was reserve captain for the U's. But Simon only made 3 appearances in 3 years at Oxford United. Since joining Barnet on a free in 2003 he has made 99 appearances for the Bees and will play for the 100th time for the Bees against his former club.
