Tonight, the Bees entertain Peterborough United in a match that sees the return to Underhill of Barnet legend, Liam Hatch following his £150,000 move to London Road earlier this month. The Posh, who are managed by Darren Ferguson, son of the Manchester United manager, are currently 2nd in the table following their 1-0 home win over Bury on Saturday.
Last month, Liam Hatch scored his first goal for Peterborough in the 1-0 win against Barnet at London Road. Last season, Barnet won 1-0 in the match at Underhill on Boxing Day with a goal from Adam Birchall. Earlier in the season, a Tresor Kandol goal gave the Bees a point at Peterborough. The previous season, Barnet won 2-1 at Underhill, again on Boxing Day, with goals from Ismail Yakubu and Dwane Lee. In the return, in March, the two teams shared the points in a 2-2 draw, with Barry Fuller and Andy Hessenthaler getting their first goals for the club.
Barnet will be without Michael Leary who is serving the second of his four match suspension following his sending off in the MK Dons match. Kieron St. Amie is doubtful with the ankle injury that kept him out of Saturday's match against Shrewsbury. The Bees will be looking to avenge the defeat at Peterborough and to build on the excellent 4-1 win over the Shrews at the weekend and will almost certainly field an unchanged side.
There have been a number of players in recent years who have played for both clubs, including Chris Plummer, Mark Arber, Greg Heald, Mick Bodley, Andy Clarke, Ken Charlery, Ian Hendon, Lee Harrison, Wayne Purser and Guiliano Grazioli. Liam Hatch and Bees' current vice-captain, Sagi Burton are two players who have appeared for both clubs who are likely to play some part in tonight's match. As well as this, of course, Barry Fry has managed both clubs.
The last time, Barnet played on 4th March was in 2006 when the Bees drew 2-2 in a League Two home match with Wrexham with goals coming from Jason Norville and Tresor Kandol.
Peterborough will be without Kieran Charnock, but otherwise, Ferguson has a full squad to choose from. Let's look at the Posh squad.
Goalkeepers:
Joe Lewis was signed in this January transfer window for a record £400,000 from Norwich City. Lewis had a successful loan spell earlier this season at Morecambe, where Bees fans will remember his outstanding performance on the opening day match at Christie Park. Lewis has been named the Peterborough player of the month for February.

Strikers:

Liam Hatch moved to Peterborough from Barnet in the January transfer window and will be returning to Underhill for the first time since his transfer. A much loved player at Barnet, he scored 31 goals for the club and helped the side win the Nationwide Conference Championship in 2005. Liam was capped by the England National Game XI and joined Barnet in 2003 from Gravesend.
