MATCH PREVIEW: Torquay United

Last updated : 13 November 2010 By Jaybee

Barnet travel to Torquay United this afternoon for an important League Two match, with the Bees needing to gain a win to move away from the bottom of the table. Barnet gave a fine performance in last Saturday’s FA cup match at home to Charlton Athletic and manager, Mark Stimson will hope that his team can build on that display in the league matches that follow so that the team can start moving up the table.

Captain, Glen Southam has accumulated five yellow cards and therefore misses to day’s game because of a one match ban. The visitors’ Torquay currently occupy the last of the play-off places but they have an erratic record at home having won and lost three matches at Plainmoor so far this season. So there is hope that, maybe, the Bees could gain their first away win of this campaign.
