Barnet have appointed Adrian Whitbread as first team coach. Whitbread had a previous spell at Barnet as coach under Martin Allen in 2003/04 before joining up with Allen at Brentford. He was caretaker manager at Barnet for one game that season, a goalless draw at home to Chester, before heading off to Griffin Park. He was subsequently coach under Allen at MK Dons and Leicester City but has more recently coached abroad.
As a player, Whitbread began his career at Leyton Orient before two £500,000 transfers took him to first, Swindon town and West Ham, where Allen also played and then Portsmouth for £250,000. Later he played for Reading where Allen was coach. He also had loan spells at Luton Town and Exeter City.
Meanwhile, analyst, Omar Yabroudi has moved on to Nottingham Forest and physiotherapist, jayde Cook has gone into private practice and to further her education.
