Atkins hits out at Bees boss

Paul Fairclough
"talking out of his backside." according to
Atkins.
Atkins said that Paul was "talking out of his backside." Well, I think most Bees fans think he is. Because everyone in the ground could see that ex Bee Junior Agogo who left the Bees in the summer of 2003 for £110k and Giuliano Grazioli. I wonder who get the best side of that deal ;-). Atkins went on to add: The Bees chief described the opening day 1-1 draw at Underhill as a "1-0 slaughtering" in favour of the home team, before adding that Junior Agogo's late equaliser was "three yards offside".But Ian has today strongly rejected Fairclough's comments, adding that neither Barnet nor their manager are of any concern to him.

"Barnet were never any concern to me yesterday, it was the occasion, the referee, and everything connected to the day," Ian told bristolrovers.co.uk, "If that match was played in November, it wouldn't have been a problem.

"I know that we could have played better, but they only scored through one long ball forward that we punished ourselves over. We weren't in any real danger in the game.

"I don't know how he can say that Junior's goal was three yards offside. I was watching from the halfway line and I couldn't tell, and he was further away than me.

"The goal wasn't scored on the halfway line, so he must have very good eyesight for a 66-year-old man to be able to make that kind of call from where he was.

Atkins
the
new
Westley?
"Basically, he's talking out of his backside, but that's nothing new to him. He's a cuckoo, he only says things for his own publicity, and he's one of those schoolteacher types that's never played the game before."

First of all Atkins you total prat!!! Paul is 55 not 66 as you said in the aboth comments. Second everyone in the ground could see that Junior was offside. After these comments could Ian Atkins become the new Graham Westley?? Do you take it up the ar*e Ian Atkins!
