Barnet have been drawn to play League One club, Millwall at Underhill in the 1st round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. The tie will take place in the week commencing August 31st. Since the trophy was renamed in its present form, Barnet have not fared particularly well in the Associate Members' Cup. It will be our first ever home fixture in the JPT and the first time that we have met Millwall in a competitive fixture.

In 2006, Barnet won 1-0 in the 1st round away at Notts County with Tresor Kandol scoring, but lost in the 2nd round away at Cheltenham Town 3-2, Kandol scoring both of the Barnet goals. The Barnet side was; Flitney; Devera, Yakubu, King, Nicolau; Cogan, Bailey, Sinclair, Puncheon; Kandol, Vieira (Warhurst).

Since then, Barnet have not gone past the 1st round. In 2007, the Bees lost 2-1 at Brighton with Adam Birchall scoring the Barnet goal and Birchall scored twice last season away at Dagenham & Redbridge but the Bees went down 4-2.
