"If we defend as poorly as that, we are going to cause problems for ourselves." Were the words of Paul Fairclough after the Bees 3-0 defeat to MK Dons. He also told TEAMtalk that if the Bees kept on defending that way they will slip further down League Two in to the relegation places. Despite the fact that 9 of the players playing against MK will not be playing against Bristol Rovers on Saturday. He also told TEAMtalk: "We gave three goals away that we were accountable for and you can't do that at this level."

Danny Wilson, the MK Dons manager was delighted with his sides performance against the Bees he told there official website: "It was a great performance and a deserved win. We have had a good run of form and things are going well on both the cup and league fronts.
"Thanks go out to the referee, who decided to let the game go ahead despite the fog from before the game. No-one wants a fixture backlog and it was a relief to get it out of the way.

"I felt we bossed the game all the way through and showed our ability to kill it off. The goals were good ones and all the players did the jobs asked of them.

"It shows that the spirit is sky high at present, and not just from the players who are playing regularly. There were a few that haven't had so much football lately especially as there's been a bit of a spell without a reserve fixture.

"But when you're winning that confidence spreads to the boys who are not first team regulars, and they have all put themselves into my thoughts with that performance."
