Young Barnet striker, Elliott Charles has left the club after his contract was cancelled by mutual consent. Charles came to the club through the PROTEC system ans was signed, on professional terms, in May 2008. He made 12 senior appearances for the club, all as a substitute. He scored in the pre-season match at home to arsenal, grabbing the equaliser in a 2-2 draw, but failed to score for the Bees in a competitive first team match.

Charles had spells on loan to five different clubs, all at lower level. They were; Farnborough, Lewes, Ebbsfleet, Hemel Hempstead Town and, most recently, Havant & Waterlooville.

Barnet Mad wishes Elliott all the best for the future.
