Martin Allen ex Barnet boss and hated by many of the Barnet faithful for leaving the club in March 2004 to Brentford and then saved Brentford from relegation.
He told thisisLondon:
"I am so pleased. I will be writing to all the people concerned at Barnet to congratulate them on their achievement and would love to arrange a pre season friendly, and hope they accept my offer. I would love to go back and see them all once more."
Around a week before Martin left the club he had a Q&A where he told Bees supporters that he wanted to take them up to the Football League and then just days before he left he came on the BFCSA coach for the game at Gravesend and Northfleet and spoke to the fans. When it was announced that he had resigned to join Brentford Bees fans were shocked.
