The Bees take on Bristol Rovers at Underhill on Saturday in the Bees first Football League game since they were relegated in 2000/2001 on the last day of the season against Torquay United where the Bees lost 3-2 four years ago. It will be Paul's first ever Football League game as a manager, although he has won the Nationwide Conference twice now. First coming in the 1995/1996 season when the Bees bitter local rivals Stevenage Borough won the Conference but weren't allowed in the league due to the size of there ground.
Paul told TEAMtalk ahead of the game against Bristol Rovers: "I'm very much looking forward to it," he said. "It's been a long journey for me to get here.
"That's why the pyramid system in this country works - it allows people like me to realise their dreams.
"My mum and dad, who are in their late 80s, are just beaming with pride and they will be coming down for the game. It's a massive moment for my family." Paul also said admitted it will be a "massive moment" for him.
