Fairclough wants the title

The Bees manager told Peter Stebbing:"I'm expecting great things this season. Of course, we'll be trying to win the league and I believe the squad is more than capable. I only know one way and that's to win. If we do the best we can, we'll have a really good chance."
Paul also said that he will be disappointed if the Bees don't finish above mid-table. He said: "I'll be happy with promotion. I'd be disappointed with a mid-table position."
The Bees captain Ian Hendon who has made 84 appearances for the club scoring 11 times told ThisisHerts that it will be a difficult season for the Bees. He said: "It's going to be difficult. Teams are going to be more organised and more disciplined than last year.

"We'll look to win on Saturday and then go from there."

The Bees 30 year old goal machine Guilano Grazioli also spoke to ThisisHerts. He said that he is very close to signing a new contract. Graz, 30, who has had Football league experience with Swindon, Peterborough and Bristol Rovers who the Bees face on Saturday in there first game back in the Football league after a four year absence. Graz also has non league experience with Wembley, Yeovil and bitter local rivals Stevenage Borough. He told ThisisHerts: "We've agreed terms and I'm very close to signing. There are just a few little bits and pieces to sort out.

"People know my feelings about the club. I'm happy here and in the area, so why would I want to go somewhere else? I just wanted a bit more security for my family."
