Hendon hails Bees winger Adomah

Adomah, who was heavily linked with a move away from the club in January, cancelled out Matt Thornhill's opener before almost adding a second 15 minutes from time, but his first-time shot crashed off the underside of the crossbar and was adjudged not to have crossed the line.

"Albert looked back to his old self," said Hendon. "I'm delighted with his performance. He frightens the life out of defenders.

"I'm not sure about whether the ball crossed the line though. It was a good move and looked a good finish but the linesman is in the best place to see it and Albert has hardly claimed for it.

"I thought the performance deserved more than a point as we played some good stuff," added the Bees chief. "I don't know what it was like for spectators but I was excited down on the touchline.

"It was disappointing to go behind but we didn't fold and got ourselves back into the game, and we should have won it."
