In an interview with the Barnet Times Bees manager called Underhill stadium a fortress after the Bees beat Shrewsbury 1-0 on Saturday he said:

Fairclough said: "We haven't lost for five games at home and have been very tight.

"We are making Underhill into a bit of a fortress and we want to keep that going."

Paul has also given special praise to the match winner of that game new signing Tresor Kandol he said: "Kandol was brought in for his quality," he said. "He can turn something into nothing and he made a perfect debut.

"He has a great goalscoring record and knows how to get onto the end of things nobody expects him to."

The striker cost £50,000 from Dagenham and Redbridge and was signed in the Janurary transfer window. Also in the game there was a power cut before kick off meaning the match didn't start until 4:25pm. For the fans patients the club gave fans free food. ""It's things like this that make you realise why you support a smaller club like Barnet."
