Manager Paul Fairclough has announced a 17 man squad for the trip to Morecambe's Christie Park for the new season's opener. Giuliano Grazioli is unavailable following surgery on his knee, but otherwise everyone is fit.
The squad is: Lee Harrison, Robert Beckwith; Joe Devera, Ismail Yakabu, Sagi Burton, Nicky Nicolau, Ian Hendon, James Cole; Ashley Carew, Michael Leary, Neal Bishop, Jason Puncheon, Max Porter, Stephane Seanla; Anthony Thomas, Adam Birchall, Liam Hatch.
It is likely that five players making their league debuts for the Bees will start; Sagi Burton signed from Shrewsbury Town, Ashley Carew formerly with Fisher Athletic, Michael Leary, signed from Luton Town, Neal Bishop, signed from York City and capped by Fairclough for England's National Game XI and striker, Anthony Thomas signed by Fairclough from Hemel Hempstead Town, following an impressive performance against Barnet in the final of the Herts Senior Cup.
The match will also be Ismail Yakabu's first senior match for the Bees as captain.
