They have come down and done a good job but the match statistics will show they have had few efforts on goal but scored. We have had opportunities to have put the game out of sight in both halves but in fairness territorially there was not a lot in it and we haven't hurt them enough.
This is a tough league and you have to work hard in it. We are at a point now where we are looking for just a little bit more to turn draws into wins. We have to try and search for ways to do that - may be it's a new player or different training but it is something we need to do to make us a little bit different and better than what we are at the moment.
With the players I have here, they never give in and are not the sort to throw in the towel. They will and do respond and I am proud of that fact. I am feeling for them at the moment. This is a tough league and on a better day we would have got a victory but we are getting punished week in, week out at the moment for mistakes. We have to learn from that.
I feel for all the players because we are really trying hard and we are creating opportunities. You don't expect to create bundles and bundles at this level but with the amount we are creating you expect to score more goals. If you are not taking your chances and you are conceding the odd one we let slip it's not good.
Statistics will show again today that we should have won but we have been caught out again. However, the players have shown tremendous character and have come back to get the points with a few minutes to go but again we are left disappointed at not winning.
We are working hard in training and we can feel sorry for ourselves if we want to but we won't. It is down to us why we are, where we are. We are creating opportunities - there is no doubt about it and their will be game soon where we will score three or four goals.
It is not as if we are any worse than what we were last seasons it's just that it is a tougher league and you have to work really hard to get something out of it. We are working hard but just not getting the breaks.
Dean Sinclair was on the bench today because I felt we needed to look at something different in the middle of the park. Dean has an enormous amount of energy and enthusiasm but I just don't feel we have been using that in the right direction.
I felt Dean has been frustrated and his frustration has shown by making the type of runs where he wants to do things for us but has not been selective enough. He came on today and did quite well and was energetic and enthusiastic.
He is a big player for this club and the whole idea of taking him out today was to allow him to look at the situation from the touchline which is a good learning part of any footballer's career.
Paulo Vernazza has come in today and he has not done anything wrong in the game and has contributed to the game well
