Moules to apologise to Clougie

Nationwide Conference chief executive John Moules will be at Underhill for Barnet's game against Morecambe on Saturday to apologise to manager Paul Fairclough over the announcement of the Manager of the Month award for August.

With top of the table Barnet unbeaten in five games - four wins and a draw - Fairclough was expected to be named. The Conference rule book says that the award is made on a points system ... four for an away win, three for a home victory, two for an away draw and one for a home draw. That gave Fairclough 16 points, ahead of the field.

But in August the Conference decided to use a panel's decision to decide the conference manager of the month.
