John O'Flynn bagged a second-half double as Barnet finally ended their barren run of 14 games without a win and dented Aldershot's play-off hopes with a 3-0 victory at Underhill. The hosts started brightly with winger Albert Adomah threatening from the right and forcing debutant keeper Stephen Henderson into a low stop before firing just over. Aldershot gradually gained a foothold in the game and created several chances as Marvin Morgan headed Lewis Chalmers' cross over after 27 minutes and John Grant's shot just cleared the crossbar. The visitors should have taken the lead eight minutes before the break as Oliver Bozanic stood the ball up for Grant whose free header sailed wide. Aldershot were made to pay for their missed chances in the 55th minute when Adomah stormed down the right to cross for skipper Micah Hyde to head home. Barnet doubled their advantage eight minutes later as the ball broke for O'Flynn in the box and he slid home his 11th of the season. And with five minutes remaining O'Flynn nodded in a cross from debutant David Livermore to seal the win.
