Barnet have been reported as signing 16 year old, Crawley Town striker, Ben King. The youngster is said, by the website, crawley.co.uk, to have joined Barnet’s youth academy. King is highly rated at Crawley, and manager, Steve Evans, was unhappy at the way in which he was able to leave the Red Devils without the club getting any compensation.
King has apparently already made a couple of appearances in the Conference for Crawley and manager, Ian Hendon will, no doubt, have seen the young striker as another addition to the promising group of youngsters developing at the Hive under Paul Fairclough, such as Mauro Vilhete, Kofi Lockhart-Adams and Ryan Scott.
