Barnet entertain Bury at Underhill this weekend

This Saturday, Barnet are at home to Bury in a match that now has an end of season look about it. Both teams are now mathmatically safe from relegation with Bury 14th on 52 points and Barnet just below them in 15th place, on 51 points. A win for Barnet would take the Bees above the Shakers in the table.
Bury are managed by former Rotherham manager, Alan Knill who replaced Chris Casper as manager earlier this season. Now, let's look at the men from Gigg Lane.
Goalkeepers:
Jim Provett moved to Bury last summer from Hartlepool where he made 66 first team appearances.
Darren Randolph is on loan from Charlton. He began his career at Accrington and has had loan experience at Gillingham. He has made 3 first team appearances for Charlton.
Defenders:
Steve Haslam began his career at Sheffield Wednesday where he made 115 appearances in 6 years at the club including 23 in the Premiership. He then, rather surprisingly, moved to non-league football with Halifax in 2004 before moving to Bury last summer.
Efetobore Sodje joined the club from Gillingham this season, on loan, where he has made 12 league starts. The 35 year old defender has played for a number of clubs including Stevenage, Macclesfield, Luton, Yeovil, Southend, Crewe and Huddersfield.
Ben Futcher is an experienced defender who has played for a number of lower league clubs. After short spells at Oldham, Stalybridge and Doncaster, he moved to Lincoln City in 2002 where he went on to play 119 times scoring 14 goals. He has subsequently played for Boston, Grimsby and Peterborough before moving to Gigg Lane.
Paul Morgan signed last summer from Lincoln City where he played 203 matches in 6 years at the club.
Paul Scott joined from Huddersfield in 2004 and has since gone on to play over 150 appearances for Bury.
David Challinor started his career at Tranmere where he made over 150 appearances before moving to Stockport in 2002. He then moved to Bury in 2004 and has made over 150 appearances for the Shakers.
Colin Woodthorpe is a very experienced player at 39 years of age. He began his career at Chester where he made 155 appearances for the club before moving to Norwich in 1991 where he played in the UEFA Cup for the Canaries, He then had a spell in Scottish football with Aberdeen before moving to Stockport where he made over 150 appearances. He signed for Bury in 2002 and has made about 200 appearances for the club.
Andy Parrish is a product of the youth system who has become part of the first team squad this season making 16 starts in the league.
Midfield:
Richie Baker joined Bury in the summer of 2006 after being released by Preston. He has made over 50 first team appearances scoring 7 goals.
Brian Barry-Murphy began his career at Preston and had loan spells at Southend and Hartlepool before moving to Sheffield Wednesday in 2002. He made over 50 appearances for the Owls before moving to Bury in 2004. He has made over 100 appearances for the Shakers scoring 10 goals.
David Buchanan is a product of the youth system and has made over 100 appearances for the Shakers.
Nicky Adams is another product of the youth system and he is having an excellent season having scored 12 goals this season.
Dale Stephens is another product of the youth system who made his first team debut last season. He has made 7 first team appearances this season and has had a loan spell at Droylsden.
Elliott Bennett is on loan from Wolves and had a spell earlier this season on loan at Crewe.
Jack Dorney is a member of the youth team who has made his first team debut this season.
Strikers:
Glynn Hurst is an experienced striker who joined Bury last season after a short loan spell from Shrewsbury. He has scored 19 goals in over 50 Appearances for Bury. He has played for a number of clubs including Chesterfield where he scored 29 goals in 2 ½ years and Notts County where he scored 23 goals in about 18 months.
Simon Yeo is a much travelled striker who is on loan from Chester. He has also played for Lincoln City and Peterborough.
Adam Rooney is on loan from Stoke and has already scored 3 goals for the Shakers. Had a spell on loan at Chesterfield earlier this season where he scored 6 goals.

Andy Bishop joined York City in 2004 after short spells at Rochdale, Yeovil and Kidderminster and was a big success at the Conference club scoring 35 goals in two seasons and playing for Paul Fairclough's England National Game XI. Moved to Bury last season and has 42 goals for the Shakers including 17 league goals so far this season.
