Goalkeepers:

 

Ian Dunbavin played for Shrewsbury Town, York and Halifax before joining Stanley in 2006 and has made 50 appearances for the club. League appearances for Accrington: 58(2).

 

Alan Martin joined Accrington on loan from Leeds United. The former Motherwell keeper had a spell on loan at Barrow last season. League appearances for Accrington: 7.

 

Dean Bouzanis has joined Accrington on loan from Liverpool. He played for Liverpool in last season’s FA Youth Cup Final. He made his Accrington debut as a substitute in the 2nd round FA cup match against Barnet. League appearances for Accrington: 2.

 

 

Defenders:

 

Johnny Flynn has joined Accrington on a month’s loan from Blackburn. He is a Northern Ireland under 21 international and recently had a loan spell with Chester. He is cup tied. League appearances for Accrington: 1.

 

Darren Kempson joined Accrington from Wrexham in the summer. He began his career at Preston and while there had a loan spell at Accrington as well as at Morecambe being moving to Christie Park in 2005. He subsequently had spells at Crewe and Shrewsbury as well as loan spells at Bury, Forest Green Rovers and, again, at Accrington. He joined Wrexham in 2008. League appearances for Accrington: 34(2), Goals: 3.

 

Dean Winnard joined Stanley from Blackburn Rovers in June 2009 after being released by the Premiership club.

 

Peter Murphy is a product of the youth system at Accrington, who made his first team debut in 2007/08. League appearances for Accrington: 5(6).

 

Leam Richardson has played for Blackburn and Bolton and Blackpool as well as a loan spell at Notts County and joined Stanley in 2005 and was part of the promotion season in 2006. League appearances for Accrington: 109(10), Goals: 1.

 

Philip Edwards joined Stanley from Wigan in January 2006 after a successful loan spell. League appearances for Accrington: 148(7), Goals: 7.

 

Tom Lees joined Accrington on loan from Leeds United.

 

Midfield:

 

Luke Joyce joined Accrington in June 2009 from Carlisle United. He began his career at Wigan Athletic before moving to Carlisle in 2006. Last season, he had loan spells at Northwich and Barrow. League appearances for Accrington: 17(1), Goals: 1.

 

Sean McConville joined Accrington from Skelmersdale United in February 2009.

 

Andrew Procter signed for Stanley in 2002 and is another member of the promotion team from 2006. League appearances: for Accrington: 192(21), Goals: 22.

 

Jimmy Ryan joined Accrington in August 2008 after impressing on trial with the club. Ryan was formerly with Liverpool and helped them to win the FA Youth Cup in his time there, but went to Shrewsbury Town on loan, where he made 7 first team appearances. League appearances for Accrington: 55(4), Goals: 10.

 

Robert Grant is a product of the youth system who made his debut last season. League appearances for Accrington: 30(11), Goals: 9.

 

John Mullin was signed in the summer of 2008 and is the brother of Paul Mullin. He has played for Burnley, Sunderland, Preston, Rotherham and Tranmere. League appearances for Accrington: 25(4).

 

Chris Turner is a product of the youth system at Accrington, who made his first team debut as a substitute in 2007/08 against Wycombe. League appearances for

Strikers:

 

Billy Kee is on loan from Leicester City.

 

John Miles joined Accrington in the summer of 2007 from Macclesfield Town, where he spent nearly 4 years, making 138 appearances. He has also played for Liverpool, Stoke and Crewe and had a spell on loan last season at MK Dons where he won a League Two championship medal. League appearances for Accrington: 69(5), Goals: 3.

 

Michael Symes joined Accrington in the summer of 2009 after a loan spell last season at the club. He began his career at Everton and has had short spells at Bradford City and Shrewsbury as well as loan spells at Crewe, Stockport, Bournemouth and Macclesfield. League appearances for Accrington: 22(2), Goals: 7.
