Sammy Igoe joined Bournemouth in August 2008 after being released by Bristol Rovers at the end of last season. Igoe helped Rovers win promotion to League One in 2007, scoring in the play-off final against Shrewsbury Town. He had a spell on loan last season at Hereford United. Lee Bradbury is an experienced player who began his career at Portsmouth before moving to Manchester City in 1997 for £3,000,000. He scored 10 goals in just over a year at City, before joining Crystal Palace for £1,500,000, scoring 8 goals in a year before moving on again, this time back to Portsmouth for a second spell at Fratton Park. He scored 29 goals in just over 4 years there before joining Walsall and then subsequently playing for Oxford United and Southend before joining Bournemouth in 2007. He has also played for Exeter, Sheffield Wednesday and Derby County on loan. League Appearances for Bournemouth: 58(6), Goals: 9.

Alan Connell joined Bournemouth in 2008 from Brentford. He began his career at Dean Court before moving to Torquay in 2005 and then subsequently played for Hereford and Brentford. League Appearances for Bournemouth: 23(40), Goals: 8.

Steve Fletcher is in his second spell with the Cherries having re-joined Bournemouth from Crawley Town in January 2009. He began his career at Hartlepool before joining Bournemouth in 1992.
