Goalkeepers:

John Danby is a former Kidderminster keeper who joined Chester in May 2006. He made 77 first team appearances for Kidderminster. He has made over 100 appearances for City. First Team Appearances for Chester: 142.

Defenders:

Laurence Wilson was signed from Everton in 2006. While at Goodison Park, he spent time on loan at Mansfield. He has played over 70 league matches for City. First Team Appearances for Chester: 111(8), Goals: 8.

Paul Linwood began his career at Tranmere before moving on to Wrexham and then Chester in 2006. He has played over 70 league matches for Chester. He signed a new two year contract in May 2008. James Vaughan joined Chester from Tranmere in January 2006. He has had a spell on loan at Droylsden. He has just signed a new 2 year contract. First Team Appearances for Chester: 71(3).

He made nearly 100 appearnces for Bury before joining Sunderland in 1998 for £1,000,000.He made 95 appearnces for Sunderland before joining Wolves in 2001 for £1,000,000 and made over 100 appearnces for Wolves before joining Leeds United in 2004 on a free transfer. Midfield:

Anthony Barry joined Chester in June 2008 from Yeovil Town. He made 74 appearances, scoring 1 goal in 2 ½ years at Yeovil. He has also played for Everton, Coventry and Accrington. First Team Appearances for Chester: 30(5), Goals: 1.

Jay Harris signed for Chester in the summer of 2008 after being released by Accrington Stanley. He made 79 appearances for Stanley and scored 2 goals. He began his career at Everton. First Team Appearances for Chester: 16(7).

Strikers:

Ryan Lowe signed for Chester in July 2008 after being released by Crewe Alexandra. He is in his second spell with Chester having spent 18 months at Chester before joining Crewe in 2005.He was previously at Shrewsbury Town and helped them gain promotion from the Conference in 2004.
