Nick Liversidge is a 19 year old goalkeeper who signed a one year deal for the club in May 2008.

David Knight joined Darlington in 2009. He had a loan spell at the club in 2005/06. He has played for Mansfield and Middlesbrough and has had loan spells at Thurrock, Oldham and Swansea. League Appearances for Darlington: 7.

Defenders:

Paul Arnison began his career at Newcastle United but failed to make the first team and joined Hartlepool in 2000. In 2003, he moved to Carlisle United and helped them to two successive promotions taking the Cumbrian club from the Conference to League One. In 2008, he moved to Bradford City and joined Darlington in the summer of 2009. League Appearances for Darlington: 5(1).

Mark Bower joined the club from Bradford City in the summer of 2009, having made over 250 appearances for the club. He had a spell on loan with Luton Town last season. League Appearances for Darlington: 7.

Rikki Bains joined Darlington from Macclesfield in the summer of 2009. He has had spells at Coventry City, Accrington, Leek Town, Tamworth and Corby. 3(1).

Jeff Smith joined Darlington in 2009 from Carlisle United. He has also played for Bolton, Port Vale and Preston and had loan spells at Macclesfield, Rochdale and Scunthorpe. League Appearances for Darlington: 9(2).

Richard Jackson joined Darlington on a short term deal in October 2009. He was released by Hereford at the end of last season, having joined the Bulls from Luton in 2008.He joined Luton from Derby where he made over 100 first team appearances in 8 years at the club having joined them from Scarborough in 1999.

Mark Convery is in his second spell at Darlington having joined the club from Sunderland in 2001. He spent four years at Darlington before joining York City in 2005. Gary Smith joined Darlington in 2009 from Brentford. He started his career at Wimbledon and moved with the club to Milton Keynes. He joined Brentford in 2007. League Appearances for Darlington: 13.

James Bennett is a young player who joined Darlington from Hull City in 2009. He had a loan spell at Lincoln City. League Appearances for Darlington: 3(1).

Chris Lumsdon joined Darlington from Carlisle United in 2009. He began his career at Sunderland and had loan spells at Blackpool, Crewe and Barnsley before moving to the Yorkshire club in 2001 for £350,000. He joined Carlisle in 2004 and helped them win promotion in successive seasons from the Conference to League One between 2004 and 2006. He made over 150 league appearances for Carlisle. Simon Thomas is on loan from Crystal Palace. He has had loan spells at Borehamwood, Grays and Rotherham and was on loan at Ebbsfleet earlier in the season. League Appearances for Darlington: 1.

Curtis Main is a product of Darlington's youth system and broke into the first team last season. League Appearances for Darlington: 6(22), Goals: 3.

Lee Thorpe joined Darlington in 2009. He has played for a number of clubs including Lincoln, Leyton Orient, Bristol Rovers, Swansea, Torquay, Rochdale and Brentford. His best spell was at Lincoln between 1997 and 2002 where he scored 57 league goals in 192 appearances for the Imps. League Appearances for Darlington: 5.

Noel Whelan joined Darlington in 2009. Whelan has been the subject of two big fee transfers earlier in his career. He started his career at Leeds United before moving to Coventry City in 1995 for £2m. He scored 31 league goals for the sky blues before moving to Middlesbrough in 2000, but only managed 5 goals in 3 years for the Teesiders. He has subsequently had spells at Derby, Aberdeen, Boston United, Livingston and Dunfermline.

James Collins has joined the Quakers from Aston Villa on a three month loan deal in 2009.

Mor Diop is a 21 year old, French striker who has been signed on a short term deal.
