Goalkeepers:

Simon Royce joined the club from QPR in 2007 following a short loan spell. He made 50 league starts for QPR and has also played for Charlton, Leicester and Southend. He made over 150 appearances for the Essex club. He has also had loan spells at QPR, Luton, Manchester City and Brighton. League Appearances for Gillingham: 73.

Alan Julian signed for Gillingham in May 2008 from Stevenage Borough. Julian is a former Northern Ireland under 21 international and was voted Stevenage player of the year in his first season at Broadhall Way. He made over 150 appearances for Stevenage after joining them from Brentford in 2005. League Appearances for Gillingham: 3.

Defenders:

John Nutter is a player who has been around the non-league circuit having played for Grays, Aldershot, Gravesend and St. Albans. He joined the Gills in 2007 from Stevenage. He has played for manager, Mark Stimson at Stevenage and Grays. League Appearances for Gillingham: 60(3), Goals: 1.

Garry Richards is a former Colchester player who signed in 2008 from Southend United and made 12 starts scoring 1 goal last season. League Appearances for Gillingham: 33(11), Goals: 3.

Barry Fuller is a player well known to the Bees' fans. The former Charlton youngster spent a while at Underhill on loan in 2006 and was very popular with the fans who expected him to sign for the Bees when Charlton released him. He joined Stevenage instead and then followed Stimson to Gillingham in 2007. League Appearances for Gillingham: 40(1).

Simon King is a player who needs no introduction at Underhill. Simon joined the Bees from Oxford United in 2003 and was one of Martin Allen's new look team in 2003/04. He was a regular player in the Bees' Nationwide Conference championship side of 2005, scoring the winning goal in the home match against Halifax that clinched Barnet's return to league football. Converted by Paul Fairclough from left back to centre back, he was capped by the England National Game XI. King was voted Barnet player of the year for season 2006/07 but left that summer to move to Gillingham for £200,000. He made over 150 appearances for Barnet scoring 7 goals. He was voted Gillingham players' player of the year last season. League Appearances for Gillingham: 77(3), Goals: 1.

Rene Steer is on loan from Arsenal. League Appearances for Gillingham: 3(2).

Midfield:

Mark Bentley was signed from Southend United in 2006, having helped the club win promotion to the Championship. He made over 100 appearances for Southend, scoring 12 goals. He was previously with Dagenham & Redbridge, Gravesend and Aldershot. League Appearances for Gillingham: 105(4), Goals: 7.

Nicky Southall is an experienced player who joined the Gills in 2007 from Nottm Forest. He began his career at Hartlepool where he scored 27 goals in over 150 appearances and later played for Grimsby Town and Bolton and also had a short spell at Norwich on loan. He is in his third spell at Gillingham and has scored 25 goals in over 300 matches. Has had a loan spell this season with Dover. League Appearances for Gillingham: 309(19), Goals: 25.

Albert Jarrett is a former Watford, Wimbledon, Swindon and Brighton player who joined Gillingham in 2008 after impressing in the reserves. League Appearances for Gillingham: 9(5).

Jack Payne is a young player who has come through the youth system at Gillingham. League Appearances for Gillingham: 0(2).

Adam Miller was signed from Stevenage in 2007. He is a player who has been around the non-league scene having played for Aldershot, Grays, Gravesend, Canvey Island and Workshop and he also had a short spell at QPR. League Appearances for Gillingham: 57(3), Goals: 9.

Curtis Weston joined the Gills on loan from Leeds United in August 2008. He began his career at Millwall and played in the 2004 FA Cup Final against Manchester United who won 3-0. He was the youngest player ever to play in an FA Cup Final at 17. Later he played for Swindon Town and Leeds but spent part of last season on loan at Scunthorpe United. Stuart Lewis is another former Barnet player, who followed Stimson to Gillingham from Stevenage. He began his career at Tottenham, moving to Barnet in 2007, but only made 4 appearances at Barnet before joining Stevenage. League Appearances for Gillingham: 15(11).

Josh Wright joined Gillingham recently on loan from Charlton Athletic, where he has made 3 first team appearances this season. Josh is another player at Gillingham who is well known to Bees' fans following his successful time at Underhill on loan from Charlton last season. He made 32 league appearances for the Bees, scoring one goal in the 4-1 away win at Stockport. He has also had a spell on loan at Brentford earlier this season.

Strikers:

Gary Mulligan joined Gillingham in 2006 from Sheffield United following a short loan spell. He has also played for Wolves and had loan spells at Rushden & Diamonds and Port Vale. He is a Republic of Ireland under 21 international. League Appearances for Gillingham: 74(33), Goals: 15.

Andy Pugh is a young player who has come up through the youth system at Gillingham. He is currently on loan at Grays. League Appearances for Gillingham: 0(6).

Simeon Jackson joined the Gills in January 2008 for £150,000 from Rushden & Diamonds. He scored 43 goals in just over 2 seasons at Rushden, including their last league goal against Barnet in 2006. League Appearances for Gillingham: 46(8), Goals: 21.

Dennis Oli joined the Gills in 2007 from Grays, having scored 31 goals in 112 for the Essex club. He has also played for QPR, Gravesend, Farnborough, Swansea and Cambridge United. League Appearances for Gillingham: 35(12), Goals: 7.

Luis Cumbers is a young player who has come up through the youth system at Gillingham. He had a spell on loan at Grays last season. He is currently on loan at Ebbsfleet. League Appearances for Gillingham: 2(10), Goals; 1.

Mark McCammon signed for Gillingham in July 2008 from Doncaster Rovers after helping the Yorkshire club win promotion to the Championship. He had early spells at Cambridge United, Charlton and Swindon before joining Brentford in 2000. He scored 15 goals in just over 2 years at Griffin Park and later played for Millwall and Brighton before joining Doncaster in 2006. League Appearances for Gillingham: 17(9), Goals; 3.
