The Lincoln squad is;Goalkeepers:
Rob Burch began his career at Tottenham where he played for the England under 20 side. He went on loan to Woking and Stevenage to get some first team experience and was an unused substitute in loan spells at West Ham and Bristol City. In 2007, he went on loan to Barnet making his debut in the 1-1 away draw at Notts County and impressed the Bees fans in his short stay at Underhill where he made 6 appearances for the club. He was released by Tottenham at the end of that season and joined Sheffield Wednesday, but only made 3 first team appearances for the Owls and was released at the end of 2007/08. He joined Lincoln in July 2008. League Appearances for Lincoln: 46.
Defenders:
Cian Hughton has joined Lincoln City on a six month contract after being released by Tottenham. He is the son of Newcastle coach, Chris Hughton and is a Republic Of Ireland under 19 international.
Paul Green is a 20 year old who signed in the 2007 January transfer window from Aston Villa. League Appearances for Lincoln: 82(4), Goals: 3.
Janos Kovacs signed for the Imps in June 2008, after refusing a new contract at Chesterfield. He joined Chesterfield in the summer of 2005 from Hungarian side, MTK, but only became a first team regular last season. He made over 50 appearances for the Spireites, scoring 2 goals. He had a spell on loan at York City in 2006/07. League Appearances for Lincoln: 45, Goals: 3.
Moses Swaibu began his career at Crystal Palace but was released by them in the summer of 2008. He was on loan last season at Weymouth and joined Lincoln in January 2009. League Appearances for Lincoln: 10.
Daniel Hone is a product of the youth system at Lincoln and was voted joint young player of the year with Lenell John-Lewis last season. He made his debut last season. League Appearances for Lincoln: 37(5), Goals: 2.
Sam Clucas joined Lincoln from Leicester City in August 2009 after impressing while on trial.
Midfield:
Richard Butcher re-joined Lincoln from Notts County in May 2009. It is his third spell at the club having originally signed for the Imps in 2002 from Kettering. He left in 2005 to join Oldham but had a short spell back at Sincel Bank later that year. He joined Peterborough in 2006 before moving to Notts County a year later. League Appearances for Lincoln: 99(9), Goals: 12.
Aaron Brown began his career at Bristol City where he made over 150 appearances for City, scoring 12 goals. He had loan spells at Exeter, Torquay, Cheltenham and Swindon, plus a short spell at QPR, before joining Swindon in 2006 and then moving to Gillingham the following year. He made 14 starts for Gillingham in 2007/08, plus 1 appearance as a substitute and scored 2 goals. He joined Lincoln in June 2008. League Appearances for Lincoln: 33(6), Goals: 2.
Scott Kerr joined City two years ago from Conference side, Scarborough where he played for the England National Game XI managed by Paul Fairclough. Kerr was rumoured to be a target for Barnet. Kerr has also played for Hull City and Bradford City. League Appearances for Lincoln: 167(3), Goals: 8.
Shane Clarke is a product of the youth system who made his debut last season for the Imps. League Appearances for Lincoln: 24(15).
Stefan Oakes joined the club from Lincoln City in July 2008. He was previously at Notts County and Leicester City and joined Wycombe two years ago and played a big part in last season's Carling Cup run to the semi finals scoring twice. He joined Wycombe in 2005 and has made over 100 appearances for Wycombe, scoring 9 goals. He made 25 league starts, for Wycombe, last season, with another 11 as a substitute and scored 3 goals. League Appearances for Lincoln: 21(7), Goals: 1.
Strikers:
Lenell John-Lewis is an 18 year old who has scored 3 goals in 19 appearances this season after making his first team debut as a substitute in 2007/08. League Appearances for Lincoln: 36(13), Goals: 7.
Chris Fagan joined Lincoln in June 2009. He was released by Manchester United in 2008 and then spent time at the Glenn Hoddle Academy in Spain. He is an Irish Under 21 International. League Appearances for Lincoln:
Jamie Clarke joined Lincoln from Blackburn in June 2009. He had loan spells at Accrington and Rotherham last season.
Paul Connor joined Lincoln from Cheltenham Town in July 2009. He started his career at Middlesbrough but failed to make the first team and was loaned out to Gateshead, Hartlepool and Stoke and joined Stoke in 1999. He had a loan spell at Cambridge United before moving to Rochdale in 2001 for ₤150,000. He scored 29 goals for Rochdale in 3 years before joining Swansea. He scored 16 goals in nearly two years for Swansea before joining Leyton Orient in 2006 and then moved to Cheltenham in 2007.
Andrew Hutchinson is a product of the youth system at Sincel Bank who made his league debut for the Imps last season. League Appearances for Lincoln: 3(1).
Rene Howe joined Lincoln in August 2009 on loan until December from Peterborough United. He joined Peterborough from Kettering Town in 2007 but has failed to make an impact at London road and was loaned out to Rochdale in 2008, scoring 9 goals in 20 league games. He spent last season loan at Morecambe and scored 10 goals in 37 league appearances.
