Macclesfield Town are managed by former Barnet player and Lincoln City and Peterborough manager, Keith Alexander.

Goalkeepers:

Jonny Brain joined Macclesfield in 2006 from Port Vale, where he made over 50 first team appearances. He played 29 times for Macclesfield last season as he established himself as the regular first team goalkeeper. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 82.

Defenders:

Ahmed Deen joined Macclesfield in the summer of 2008. He has played for Leicester, Peterborough, St. Albans, Fisher, Aldershot and Bishops Stortford. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 17(9).

Paul Morgan signed last summer from Lincoln City where he played 203 matches in 6 years at the club. He began his career as a youngster at Preston, but only made one league cup appearance. He joined Macclesfield Town on a season long loan in July 2008. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 38(1), Goals: 1.

Nathaniel Brown is on loan from Blue Square premier club, Wrexham. He made his Macclesfield debut earlier this month in the club's 1st round FA Cup win over Harlow Town. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 28(1), Goals: 5.

Sean Hessey is a former Blackpool, Huddersfield and Kilmarnock player who was on a season's loan to Macclesfield last season from Chester. He made over 80 appearances for Chester. He signed for Macclesfield in June 2008. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 55(4).

Richard Walker is a former Crewe player who joined last year from Port Vale on loan. He signed permanently for Macclesfield in June 2008. He made over 100 appearances for Crewe, scoring 7 goals. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 23(1).

James Jennings is a young defender who made his debut in 2006/07 and has also had first team experience on loan at Altrincham. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 23(15).

Midfield:

Colin Daniel is on loan from Crewe. He has also played on loan at Leek Town and Grays Athletic. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 6.

Lee Bell joined Mansfield last season from Crewe Alexandra where he also had loan spells with Burton Albion and Shrewsbury. He moved to Macclesfield on a free transfer in May 2008. He made 28 appearances for Mansfield, scoring 1 goal. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 36(4), Goals: 1.

Jamie Tolley made over 200 appearances for Shrewsbury Town, helping them to win promotion from the Conference in 2004, before moving to Macclesfield Town in 2006. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 55(7), Goals: 3..

Danny Thomas signed in the summer of 2007 after short term spells with Hereford United and Shrewsbury. Thomas has also played for Bournemouth and Boston United. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 67(16), Goals: 6..

Shaun Brisley is a product of the youth team and he won a place in the first team during the 2007/08 season. He is now a regular member of the team. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 46(1), Goals: 2.

Jordan Hadfield joined the club from Stockport County. He had a sell on loan at MK Dons last season but has now returned to Moss Rose. He has had a loan spell at Altrincham this season. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 42(11), Goals: 1.

Izak Reid is a young midfield player who made his debut in 2006/07 and established himself as a regular member of the first team squad last season. He has scored 2 goals in 20 starts for the club. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 48(22), Goals: 4.

Strikers:

Gareth Evans is a young striker who has broke into the side this season with 35 appearances, including those as substitute and has scored 5 goals. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 52(25), Goals: 18.

Simon Yeo signed from Peterborough in January 2007 and has scored 8 goals for Chester. He has also had a short loan spell at Bury. Yeo was previously with Lincoln city where he made over 150 appearances, scoring 51 goals. He was on loan at Bury last season. He signed for Macclesfield on a free transfer in May 2008. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 22(11), Goals: 7.

Neil Harvey signed for Macclesfield in June 2008 from Unibond Division One South club, Retford United. Harvey is a Barbados International and scored 35 goals in 46 games for Retford last season. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 0(5).

John Rooney signed professional terms for Macclesfield in July 2008. He joined Macclesfield's centre of excellence in 2007 after being released by Everton. He is the younger brother of Manchester United and England star, Wayne Rooney. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 9(5), Goals: 2.

Emile Sinclair joined Macclesfield during the 2009 January transfer window from Nottingham Forest. He had a spell on loan at Mansfield Town earlier this season. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 13(3), Goals:
