Jonny Brain joined Macclesfield in 2006 from Port Vale, where he made over 50 first team appearances. He played 29 times for Macclesfield in his first season as he established himself as the regular first team goalkeeper. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 88.
Jose Veiga joined the Silkmen in the summer of 2009 from Hereford United. He was previously with Tamworth. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 2.
Defenders:
Stephen Reed joined Macclesfield from Weymouth in May 2009. He started his career at Yeovil Town and had loan spells at Forest Green Rovers, Woking, Aldershot and Torquay before moving permanently to Torquay in 2006. He had spells at Weston Super Mare and Cambridge United before joining Weymouth in 2008. League Appearances for Macclesfield:
Nathaniel Brown is on loan from Blue Square premier club, Wrexham. He made his Macclesfield in the club's 1st round FA Cup win over Harlow Town. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 29(2), Goals: 6.
Sean Hessey is a former Blackpool, Huddersfield and Kilmarnock player who was on a season's loan to Macclesfield in season 2007/08 from Chester. He made over 80 appearances for Chester. He signed for Macclesfield in June 2008. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 55(4).
Carl Tremarco joined the Silkmen from Wrexham in June 2009. He had a loan spell last season at Darlington. He started his career at Tranmere and moved to Wrexham in 2008. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 6.
Paul Morgan signed in the summer from Bury. He was on a season long loan at Moss Rose last season. He joined Bury in the summer of 2007 from Lincoln City where he played 203 matches in 6 years at the club. He began his career as a youngster at Preston, but only made one league cup appearance. Midfield:
Lee Bell joined Mansfield from Crewe Alexandra where he also had loan spells with Burton Albion and Shrewsbury. He moved to Macclesfield on a free transfer in May 2008. He made 28 appearances for Mansfield, scoring 1 goal. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 39(7), Goals: 1.
Shaun Brisley is a product of the youth team and he won a place in the first team during the 2007/08 season. He is now a regular member of the team. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 52(1), Goals: 2.
Colin Daniel joined Macclesfield from Crewe in July 2009. He had a loan spell last season at Moss Rose. He has also played for Eastwood Town and had a loan spell at Grays Athletic. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 14.

Strikers:
John Rooney signed professional terms for Macclesfield in July 2008. He joined Macclesfield's centre of excellence in 2007 after being released by Everton. He is the younger brother of Manchester United and England star, Wayne Rooney. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 13(6), Goals: 2.
Ben Wright joined Macclesfield in May 2009 after being released by Lincoln City. He signed for Lincoln in the summer of 2007 after turning down the offer of a contract with Barnet having played in pre-season friendlies for the Bees. He has also played for Norwegian clubs, Viking Stavenger and I.K. Start. He scored three goals against Barnet for Lincoln in season 2007/08. He scored 17 goals in two seasons for the Imps. Emile Sinclair joined Macclesfield in May 2009 from Nottm Forest. He was on loan with the Silkmen in 2009 and also had loan spells at Brentford and Mansfield. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 15(7), Goals: 1.
Kyle Wilson joined Macclesfield from Unibond League club, FC United of Manchester in May 2009. He scored 24 goals for the non-league club last season. He was previously with Crewe. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 0(2).
Kristian Dennis is a young striker who made his first league appearance for Macclesfield in 2008 as a substitute and scored the winner at Moss Rose against Barnet in April again coming on as a substitute. Matthew Tipton is in his third spell with Macclesfield Town. He began his career at Oldham making over 100 league appearances for the Latics before joining Macclesfield where he scored 41 goals in just over three years at Moss Rose. He had a brief spell at Mansfield before moving to Bury and had a season long loan at Macclesfield in 2006/07. He then had spells at Hyde and Droylesden before re-joining the Silkmen following a successful trial. League Appearances for Macclesfield: 134(36), Goals: 49
