Goalkeepers:

Scott Davies is a product of the youth system, who made his first team debut in 2005. He made 13 first team appearances for the club last season. He signed a new one year contract this summer. League Appearances for Morecambe: 12(3).

Barry Roche signed for Morecambe in June 2008 from Chesterfield. He joined the Spireites from Nottm Forest, where he made 10 first team starts, in 2005 and has been a regular in the Chesterfield side since making over 100 appearances in 3 seasons. League Appearances for Morecambe: 48.

Defenders:

Will Haining is a young player who made his first team debut against Hereford on the opening day of the season. League Appearances for Morecambe: 48.

Darren Moss joined Morecambe from Shrewsbury in 2009. He had two spells at Shrewsbury having resigned from Crewe Alexandra. Moss was part of the Shrewsbury team that defeated the Bees in the 2003-04 Conference play offs. He made over 200 first team appearances for the Shrews. League appearances for Morecambe: 2.

Danny Adams began his career at Altrincham before moving to Macclesfield Town in 2000 and made over 150 appearances for them before joining Stockport County in 2004. He subsequently played for Huddersfield Town before joining Morecambe in 2007. League Appearances for Morecambe: 102.

David Artell signed from Chester in summer of 2007 having been a regular for Chester for last 2 seasons. He has also played for Shrewsbury Town and Mansfield. League Appearances for Morecambe: 69(5), Goals: 6.

Jim Bentley is club captain and a hugely influential player. He signed in 2002 from Telford United, where he scored 23 times in 79 Conference appearances. He began his career at Manchester City. League Appearances for Morecambe: 257, Goals: 25.

Andy Parrish is a product of Bury's youth system and made over 50 appearances for the Shakers before being released in 2008 and moving to Morecambe. League Appearances for Morecambe: 9(3)

Henry McStay joined Morecambe in April 2008. He has also played for Halifax, Leeds United, Portadown and Royal Antwerp. League Appearances for Morecambe: 29(6), Goals: 1.

Laurence Wilson joined Morecambe in July 2009 from Chester. He began his career at Everton before joining Chester in 2006. He made over 100 league appearances for Chester. League Appearances for Morecambe: 2.

Midfield:

Garry Hunter has come up from the youth academy and has made over 150 appearances for Morecambe scoring 8 goals. League Appearances for Morecambe: 126(46), Goals: 7.

Mark Duffy joined Morecambe in May 2009 from Southport after being on loan with the Shrimps since March. He was previously with Prescot Cables. League Appearances for Morecambe: 5(6), Goals: 1.

Craig Stanley signed from Hereford United in 2006 after having helped the Bulls into league in 2006 through the play-offs. League Appearances for Morecambe: 104(9), Goals: 10.

Stewart Drummond is in his second spell at Morecambe having begun his career at Christie Park and making his debut in 1995. He left for Chester in 2004 and then joined Shrewsbury Town before re-joining Morecambe in 2008. League Appearances for Morecambe: 236(4), Goals: 39.

Neil Wainwright signed for Morecambe in June 2008 after being released by Darlington. He joined Darlo in 2001 and has played over 150 matches for the club. He has previously played for Halifax, Wrexham and Sunderland. He was on loan at Mansfield Town last season. League Appearances for Morecambe: 32(7), Goals: 1.

Ian Craney joined Morecambe on loan from Huddersfield in July 2009. He started his career at Altrincham before joining Accrington in 2004. He had two spells at Accrington with a transfer to Swansea in 2006 for ₤150,000 in between. He scored 37 goals for Accrington before joining Huddersfield in 2008. League Appearances for Morecambe: 2, Goals: 1.

Ryan McCann signed from Queen of the South in June 2008. He began his career with Celtic and subsequently played for St. Johnstone, Clyde and Hartlepool. League Appearances for Morecambe: 11(2).

Fraser McLachlan began his career at Stockport County and made over 50 appearances for County, scoring 4 goals. While at Edgeley Park, he went on loan to Northwich Victoria and Mansfield Town, who he joined permanently in 2005. He joined Morecambe in July 2006 after a short spell on loan. He missed the majority of last season with a broken leg. He was injured in the opening day match at Hereford and will miss most of the season. League Appearances for Morecambe: 42(12), Goals: 1.

Emmanuel Panther has joined Morecambe on a season long loan from Exeter City. He began his career with St Johnstone before joining Partick Thistle in 2003. He joined York City in 2005 and made over 100 first team appearances for the Minstermen before moving to Exeter and helping them get consecutive promotions from the Blue Square Premier to League One.

Aaron Taylor is a young player who has come up through the youth system and made his first team debut this season. Taylor is on loan at Barrow. League Appearances for Morecambe: 7(8), Goals: 2.

Matthew Poole is a young player who made his first team debut in the recent Carling Cup match at Preston, coming on as a substitute. He is yet to make his league debut for Morecambe.

Strikers:

Michael Twiss began his career as a youngster at Manchester United, having a spell at Sheffield United on loan, subsequently playing for Port Vale, Leigh RMI and Chester. Twiss helped Chester to Conference title in 2004, before moving to Morecambe. He has scored over 50 goals for the Shrimpers. League Appearances for Morecambe: 165(13), Goals: 52.

Wayne Curtis is Morecambe's longest serving player having joined in 1998 from Barrow and can play up front or wide on left. Scored 2 goals in 2006/07 Conference play-off semi final against York, but missed a penalty in final. He has scored over 70 goals in more than 250 appearances for Morecambe. League Appearances for Morecambe: 192(61), Goals: 73.

Phil Jevons joined Morecambe from Accrington in July 2009 on loan. He began his career at Everton before joining Grimsby in 2001 for ₤250,000. He had a loan spell at Hull City before moving to Yeovil Town in 2004. He moved to Bristol City in 2006 and a year later joined Huddersfield. He had a loan spell at Bury last season.
