Goalkeepers:

Sebastien Brown is the youth team keeper who has made the bench on a number of occasions but is still to make his debut.

Ben Hamer is a Reading youngster, who is on a season long loan. Hamer had two separate spells on loan at Griffin Park last season and made 21 first team appearances for Brentford. He spent the previous season on loan at Conference club, Crawley Town, where he made 45 appearances. Brentford League Appearances: 22.

Defenders:

Brett Johnson joined Brentford in the summer of 2008 from Northampton Town. He joined the Cobblers in 2005 from Aldershot and made 32 first team appearances for Northampton. He had spells on loan with Ebbsfleet and Grays while at Northampton. Brentford League Appearances: 1(1).

Adam Newton was signed in June 2008 from Peterborough United. He made over 200 appearances in 6 years at London Road, scoring 9 goals. He joined Peterborough from West ham and had loan spells at Portsmouth, Notts County and Leyton Orient while at Upton Park. Brentford League Appearances: 2.

Craig Pead is a former Walsall player who helped the midlands club to the League Two title in 2007 and can play in defence as well. He joined Brentford in the summer of 2007 and was previously with Coventry City and had a loan spell with Notts County. . Brentford League Appearances: 28(5).

Darius Charles has come up through the youth system at Brentford. He has started 25 games for Brentford, scoring 1 goal. He has had loan spells at Crawley Town and Sutton United. He has joined Blue Square Premier side, Ebbsfleet on a season long loan. Brentford League Appearances: 18(19) Goals: 1.

Karleigh Osborne is a product of the youth system and has made over 50 first team appearances since making his debut in 2004-05 season. Brentford League Appearances: 45 (8) Goals: 1.

Mark Phillips is a former Accrington player who joined Brentford in the summer of 2008 after impressing in pre-season trials. Brentford League Appearances: 0(1).

James Wilson joined Brentford this summer on loan from Bristol City. Brentford League Appearances: 1

Alan Bennett began his career in Irish football with Cork City, before joining Reading. He is in his second spell with Brentford, on loan, having been at Griffin Park last season. He also had a spell on loan at Southampton last season. Brentford League Appearances: 13 Goals: 1.

Midfield:

Sam Wood joined Brentford this summer from non-league, Bromley. Brentford League Appearances: 1.

Kevin O'Conner has over 300 appearances for Brentford, scoring 32 goals. The Bees are the long serving midfielder's only club. He can play in defence as well as in midfield. Brentford League Appearances: 245(35).Goals: 25.

Glenn Poole is a former Yeovil Town and Dagenham & Redbridge player, who joined in the summer of 2007 from Conference side, Grays Athletic. He scored 20 goals in 2 seasons for Grays and has had a very successful first season at Griffin park scoring 14 goals. Brentford League Appearances: 44(3).Goals: 15.

Gary Smith is a former MK Dons player, who also arrived in the summer of 2007, having been given a free transfer by ex- Barnet manager, Martin Allen. He began his career at Middlesborough, before moving to Wimbledon and then migrating to Milton Keynes. Brentford League Appearances: 26 (3) Goals 1.

Marcus Bean signed for Brentford in May 2008. He was previously with Blackpool having joined them from QPR in 2006. He made over 50 starts for QPR, scoring 2 goals. He also had a loan spell at Swansea city, while at the Gers. Last season, he had a loan spell at Rotherham. Brentford League Appearances: 1.

Ryan Dickson was signed from Plymouth in the January transfer window after he had been at Griffin Park on loan. He has also played for Torquay United and Irish club, Portadown on loan. Brentford League Appearances: 30(1).

Frankie Artus is on loan from Bristol City. He was on loan last season at Exeter City.

Marvin Williams signed for Brentford from Yeovil in June 2008. He began his career at Millwall, making over 50 appearances for them and scoring 3 goals. He joined Yeovil in 2007. Brentford League Appearances: 2.

Strikers:

Alan Connell was at Hereford last season, where he scored 10 goals in 49 appearances for the Bulls. He has previously played for Torquay and Bournemouth. Connell has scored 12 goals so far this season Brentford League Appearances: 36(7) Goals: 12.

Nathan Elder arrived from Brighton in the January transfer window and is a former Billericay player. He has scored 4 goals so far for Brentford. Brentford League Appearances: 18(1) Goals: 5.
