Barnet lost their opening pre-season friendly 1-0 at the Hive to League One, Peterborough United yesterday. Martin Allen included new signings, Carl Muggleton and John Akinde in the squad, but Dan Bradley, who arrived during the summer from Alfreton Town, was missing amidst rumours that he had already left the club, possibly due to his failure to settle in North London.

Centre back, Will Antwi was at AFC Wimledon last season and has previously for Aldershot, Wycombe and Luton Town amongst others. Gavin Mahon has played for Brentford, Watford, QPR and Notts County.
Charlie MacDonald was with Oldham Athletic last season and has also played for Crawley Town, Ebbsfleet, Southend, Brentford, MK Dons and Leyton Orient amongst others.
The second half line up was; George; Nurse, Stephens, Sheriff, Muggleton; Lowe, Vilhete, Nkumu (Abdulla 64), Gambin; Sykes, Mukendi.
