Another fine win for Andy Ford's Gravesend and they have now won three in a row, but it was another bad night for Barnet.
It was a scrappy first half and the only shot that tested keeper Paul Wilkerson was from John Doolan who had a right foot 30-yard drive saved.
In the first minute of the game Barnet's Lee Gledhill had a right-foot cross that was headed over the bar by Wayne Purser.
Junior Agogo had a hopeful shot that went wide of the post and Doolan had a shot that was blocked by the keeper and Purser was given offside from the rebound.
It was in the 29th minute that Gravesend opened the scoring Tostao Kwashi was unmarked on the right side of the field and this was spotted by captain Jimmy Jackson, who placed a weighted pass into Kwashi's stride and he drove the ball home.
After 32 minutes the visitors doubled their lead as Che Stadhart gave the ball to Jimmy Jackson to score with his left foot.
Barnet had been very disappointing in the first half and what few shots they had were well off target.
In the second half Peter Shreeves' team-talk had done wonders because Barnet were attacking the Gravesend goal and the crowd were behind them.
It was no surprise when Gledhill crossed from the right and Ben Strevens rose above the defenders to head home.
For a short while it was all Barnet. Neil Midgley had two shots at goals and Agogo tried a hopeful 30-yarder that went over the bar.
Their were shouts for a penalty when Purser was fouled in the box but referee Ruberry waved play on. Just after the hour Agogo had a header from eight yards that was punched to safety by Wilkerson.
In the 71st minute Gravesend were three up when Liam Hatch's shot was deflected by Stadhart past keeper Lee Harrison.
It appeared all over for the Bees and their heads were down when Liam Hatch hit a right-foot shot into the net from 20 yards in the 73rd minute
