Barnet boss, Edgar Davids was sent off for the second time this season after receiving two yellow cards and is now suspended for the next two matches. Despite ending the game with 10 men, the Bees won 1-0 thus completing the double over Dartford, having recently won 2-0 in the away fixture.
The Bees also saw their strike problems increase with an injury to George Sykes who had to go off midway through the 1st half. His replacement, Jon Nurse, who had scored twice in the 4-1 Herts Senior Cup win over Hatfield in midweek, came on to replace him and on 30 minutes, NURSE was on hand to put the home side ahead sidefooting the ball home after Keanu Marsh-Brown’s run and shot.
Luke Gambin missed a sitter later on in the game and Graham Stack had to save well from Noble just before the end but the Bees held on for a welcome three points which saw them move up to 6th in the table and only out of the top five on goal difference.
