Honours even between Bees and Daggers
Ben May's spectacular long-range effort salvaged a vital 2-2 draw for Barnet as relegation rivals Dagenham missed the chance to move out of League Two's drop zone.
The visitors took the lead in the first half through Michael Spillane before Izale McLeod's 18th league goal of the season levelled proceedings for the Bees.
Scott Doe restored the Daggers' advantage but May's 30-yard effort in the 79th minute caught Chris Lewington napping to ensure the spoils were shared between the strugglers.
It was the away side who drew first blood in the 25th minute when Spillane got across his man to head home after some fine work down the left by Medy Elito.
And John Still's men missed a vital chance to double their lead just moments later as both Mathieu Baudry and John Akinde headed against the crossbar before the Bees scrambled clear.
They were made to pay when McLeod raced clear on the half-hour mark before lifting cleverly over the onrushing Lewington.
After the break Doe looked to have won it when he flicked home Elito's corner after 72 minutes but May had other ideas when he rifled home from distance with 11 minutes remaining.
