Barnet manager, Martin Allen name an even more inexperienced line up for tonight's FA Trophy 1st round replay than at Canvey Island on Saturday. David Hunt was named as captain for the first time in a side that included six youth team players, of whom four were making their first senior start and two players, Roache and Fonguck, their first senior appearance. As well as this, with the exception of Sam Muggleton, the bench consists of youth team players, all of whom have yet to make their senior debut.
Somewhat appropriately, Martin Allen was sitting in the stands with Ross Eames and Henry Newman in the Bees' dugout tonight.
Concord took the lead early on with a goal from Steve Cawley. Bernard Mensah saw an effort go just wide following a good run by Adam Mekki.
Barnet equalised just after the half hour mark when they were awarded a penalty and Bernard Mensah scored from the spot. Barnet were denied a second penalty when Matt Stevens was tripped in the penalty area.
HT: Barnet 1 Concord Rangers 1
Concord scored twice early on in the second half before Matt Stevens reduced the arrears with Barnet's second penalty of the night. A mistake by Sam Cowler then let Concord restore their two goal lead. Concord made it 5-2 with a spectacular 'worldie' before adding a sixth.
