Barnet arrived for a first ever meeting with FC Halifax in 2nd place in the Conference and unbeaten but slumped to their first defeat of the season. Scott McManus put the home side ahead on 21 minutes to give the Shaymen a 1-0 half time lead and then on 50 minutes, Lois Maynard extended their lead.
Curtis WESTON cut the deficit with a stunning strike on 65 minutes as the Bees dominated the rest of the game and they almost grabbed a point when Keanu Marsh-Brown hit the crossbar but the home side held on to take all three points.
