Barnet travelled to Gateshead today unbeaten after drawing in midweek at Tamworth. The home side were still without a point following defeats to Kidderminster and Grimsby Town. Barnet started the match with the side that started against Tamworth with the exception of Anthony Acheampong replacing Jack Saville at centre back. Saville started on the bench, while Luisma Villa was out again through injury.
Barnet fell behind just past the half hour when former Morecambe player, Colin Larkin put the Heed ahead against the run of play, but Gateshead's lead lasted just 5 minutes. Barnet's equaliser came on 37 minutes, Keanu MARSH-BROWN running on to Roberto Casabella's through ball to slot home past Bartlett.
Jake HYDE had a goal disallowed in the second half, but grabbed the winner for the Bees on 88 minutes volleying his shot home fro outside the penalty area to give Barnet all three points and send them up to 2nd in the table.
