Paul Fairclough started with just one change from the side that began the game against Wycombe, Anthony Pulis replacing the suspended Rossi Jarvis and with Izale McLeod again playing up front on his own.
Barnet got off to a dreadful start with Richard Rose putting the Bulls ahead in the first minute with a shot from long range. However, after that the Bees enjoyed much the lios share of possession in the first half and this eventually paid off when just before the break, Izale MCLEOD scored from close range to level things at half time.
