Barnet manager, Mark Stimson made one change from the Macclesfield match, resting teenager, mauro Vilhete and giving Kevin Gallen his first start. Early on, Jordan Parkes hit the post for the Bees but Barnet conceded 2 goals in 2 minutes close to half time scored by Disley and Harrold.

Barnet brought on Rossi Jarvis for Mark Hughes at the beginning of the 2nd half and then brought on Vilhete for Clovis Kamdjo on 55 minutes to give the side a more attacking edge.
The Bees were back in with a chance when just past the hour, Jordan PARKES scored his first goal for the Bees with a shot from outside the area than found the corner of the Shrews’ net.
But the Shrews held on and with Northampton and Hereford United winning , Barnet have slipped to the bottom of League Two, a point behind Lincoln City who gained a creditable draw at Wycombe.
