Welling United 1Barnet 1

Barnet were hoping to build on last Saturday’s 3-1 win over Salisbury with another good result at Welling. The Bees were without Elliott Johnson, Jordan Brown, Mark Byrne, Luisma and Luke Gambin, while Jake Hyde returned on the bench. Edgar Davids gave new signing, Kieron Cadogan, his first start.

Disaster struck midway through the first half when Andy Yiadom was controversially sent off for a foul. Soon after, on 29 minutes, Joe Healy put the home side ahead when what looked like a cross ended up sailing over Graham stack’s head.

HT: Wings 1 Bees 0

Barnet were level on 72 minutes when the referee awarded what looked like a soft penalty for a foul on Keanu MARSH-BROWN and he scored from the resulting spot kick.
