Barnet went down to their third successive away defeat as Wrexham completed a league double over the Bees who saw their lead at the top of the Conference table cut to four points ahead of Bristol Rovers. Martin Allen gave loanee, Conor Clifford his first start.
Wrexham went ahead on 24 minutes through Rob Evans who scored a fine goal from the edge of the penalty area. John Akinde was sent off in the second half after receiving a second yellow card when the referee adjudged that Akinde had dived in the penalty area.
