Barnet stole a point in a game Wycombe dominated at Adams Park.
The away side seemed looked on for a smash and grab win when Liam Hatch converted the Bees only real chance, only for Tommy Mooney to equalise ten minutes from time.
In a scrappy start to the game Wycombe were the ones creating the early chances.
The first falling to Will Antwi on seven minutes, he rose highest at a Stefan Oakes cross, but couldn't direct his header on target.
Ian Stonebridge then had a better chance just a minute later, snapping at the heels of Ismail Yakubu, he robbed the defender of the ball but could only fire straight Lee Harrison when one-on-one.
Stonebridge almost found himself in a dangerous position soon after, a good one-two with Kevin Betsy seemed to put him through on goal, only for a heroic tackle from Simon King to deny him.
It was Wycombe who again found themselves closest to scoring. Mooney fed in Matt Bloomfield, who cut inside from the right and fired in a left-foot shot from 20 yards which Harrison just tipped wide.
It took Barnet just over half an hour to fire a decent effort at the Wycombe goal, Adam Birtchall found Jason Puncheon in acres of space on the left and the winger cut in and fired a ferocious shot at goal which flashed wide.
The last chance for Wycombe to go in ahead at the break fell to Mooney. He was slid in by Anthony Grant and lashed an effort at goal, only for King to get an outstretched leg in the way when it seemed to be heading for the target.
The pattern of the second half looked familiar. Wycombe started to dominate pressure from the off and Tommy Doherty should have done better with his 25-yard effort, but he fired well wide and over.
Mooney should have made it pay as well on 49 minutes. Bloomfield found himself in space on the right and whipped in a cross for Mooney who fired wide from only ten yards.
Barnet continued to struggle to get out their own half and Wycombe again threatened, this time Antwi heading over again.
Betsy was the next man try and break the duck. He beat his marker down the left and with time and space shot, but with little direction or power and Harrison easily saved.
It was Barnet though who went closest to scoring on 58 minutes, Puncheon curling in a free-kick from the right that went inches wide.
This seemed to spur on the away side, who then stunned the Chairboys by opening the scoring.
Hatch was persistent in forcing Sam Stockley to give away the ball in his own box before sticking out a leg and guiding the ball past Jamie Young.
Wycombe were straight back on the attack but Barnet were rejuvenated and kept everything out, clearing everything that came their way.
The longer the game went on the more the home side were frustrated and started to run out of ideas.
With things seeming a little dead for the home side Mooney then got the equaliser, turning in a header an Oakes corner at the near post on 81 minutes.
The goal gave Wycombe a second wind and almost took the lead straight after when substitute Russell Martin's shot was well saved from 25 yards.
And the home fans were then enraged when Betsy went down in the penalty area and the referee said no to claims for a penalty.
