Former Barnet winger, Ashley Carew has joined Blue Square South club, Bromley from rivals, Eastleigh. Carew, whose goal against Chesterfield on the opening day of last season, won the goal of the year award from Barnet supporters, joined the Bees in the summer of 2007. He scored twice in 43 league appearances for the club before being released last season by Ian Hendon.

Carew joined Eastleigh, having already had a spell there on loan and helped them make the Blue Square South play-offs but they failed to gain promotion to the Blue Square Premier.
