Barnet sign Olly Lee

Barnet today signed former West ham United midfield player, Oliver Lee, a signing which means that all the three players who have joined Barnet so far this summer were at West Ham last season!! Clearly the Robson connection.

Lee, who is the son of former Newcastle and England midfield player, Rob Lee,  failed to make the first team at Upton Park and has been loaned out during the last two seasons. In 2010/11, Lee went on loan to Dagenham & Redbridge, then a League One side and made his debut, in April, at Exeter City. His loan was extended to the end of the season and he made 5 appearances in all.

Last season, he returned to Dagenham on loan and made 16 appearances, scoring 3 goals between August and October. In February, Lee was loaned out to Gillingham, making his debut at home to Rotherham and made 8 appearances for the Kent club before returning to the Hammers. His contract was not renewed in the summer.

Barnet Mad welcomes Olly to Underhill.
